In the center of the image is The Altare della Patria, also known as the Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II or Il Vittoriano, is a monument built in honor of Victor Emmanuel, the first king of a unified Italy. It is the largest national monument in Italy.
Rick Rosenshein currently lives in Gowen, Michigan and is a self taught artistic photographer. His interest and desire to capture those special moments in time have led him to take some poetically beautiful photographs. He has a keen eye for composition along with capturing architectural art from unusual angles and vantage points. He has traveled to many countries in Europe along with visiting Scotland, Ireland, Iceland, Faroe Island, Shetland Islands, The Greek Islands and many states throughout the United States and provinces in Canada.
