This morning it was a little foggy out so I decided to go out near where I live in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina and take some photos. At times the water was like glass and the fog added to the ambience and serenity. To find such beauty within a 3 minute walk from where I live...yes I am extremely lucky. This canal is dotted with the boats and gear needed for crab fishing. It was amazing how smooth and flat the water was. This image shows some of the tools of the trade to be a crab fisherman.

Yes, you are very lucky to live here, Richard. I love this photo. "Fishing things" have always intrigued me. I love the old buoys with barnacles on them and the old rope, for example. It is an interesting, well composed, and peaceful photograph. kk
