Artist's Description

The Liberation of Saint Peter is a fresco painting by the Italian High Renaissance artist Raphael. It was painted in 1514 as part of Raphael's commission to decorate with frescoes the rooms that are now known as the Stanze di Raffaello, in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican.

Rick Rosenshein currently lives in Gowen, Michigan and is a self taught artistic photographer. His interest and desire to capture those special moments in time have led him to take some poetically beautiful photographs. He has a keen eye for composition along with capturing architectural art from unusual angles and vantage points. He has traveled to many countries in Europe along with visiting Scotland, Ireland, Iceland, Faroe Island, Shetland Islands, The Greek Islands and many states throughout the United States and provinces in Canada. Almost all of his photographs come from his travels alongside his best friend and wife Veronica, who can often be seen yelling at him to get out of the road because of oncoming traffic or to get down from...
