Description

While visiting Helsinki, Finland I had the opportunity to visit the Helsinki Senate Square with its statues and ornate lamp posts. Also on display were the Buddy Bears exhibit. Each of the 142 bears stands two metres (6.5 feet) tall and represents a country recognized by the United Nations. They brought additional color to Senate Square for two months in autumn 2010.
